Leak Detection Technician

The Role

Properly diagnosing and pinpointing water and gas leaks on residential plumbing systems in order to lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions. You will be working side by side with service techs to locate water and gas leaks for indoor and outdoor plumbing systems. This includes assisting the tech with setting up sold work properly for install.

Responsibilities

• Complete water, gas, & leak detection service calls.

• Locate and mark out manifolds, hot and cold lines with accuracy.

• Establish rapport with customers to sell the right products and services.

• Understand service criteria and hold yourself accountable.

• Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable in the leak detection field.

• Work alongside customer service, service techs, and dispatch to ensure overall success of the business.

• Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck.

• Participate actively in all training exercises, morning meetings and retreats.

• Be accurate and timely with invoices, follow ups, and time cards.

Competencies for Success

• Licensed with knowledge of local plumbing codes and ability to make on-the-job applications.

• Basic understanding and knowledge of leak detection equipment. • Continued education and training. • Clean and safe driving record.

• Highly organized with exceptional follow-through abilities.

• Service Titan knowledge is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Programmable logic controllers: 1 year (Preferred)
• Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
